The Vex are an enemy race of enigmatic robotic architects introduced in Destiny. The Vex are reflexive in their intent to become all that there is throughout time. They were first detected by humanity prior to the Collapse, and were essential to Clovis Bray I in creating the Exo on Europa. Guardians have accomplished many major victories against the Vex in the City age. One such victory was the defeat of the Sol Progeny, which worshipped the Heart of the Black Garden that was preventing the Traveler from healing itself. Guardians have also triumphed the depths of the Vex domain in Sol by defeating Atheon, Time's Conflux in the Vault of Glass. The Vex have also been pursued further into the Black Garden, with Guardians defeating the Consecrated and Sanctified minds during the events of the Garden of Salvation Raid.
