The Vault of Glass is the Destiny franchise's first ever Raid, launched on September 16, 2014 in Destiny. The Raid takes place in the Ishtar Sink on Venus, and follows Guardians as they enter the mysterious Vex construct known as the Vault of Glass to slay Atheon, Time's Conflux.
The Vault of Glass would eventually be reprised in Destiny 2 during the Season of the Splicer, launching on May 22, 2021.

Raid Title Belt[]
In the April 29, 2021 This Week at Bungie article, it was announced that the returning Raid would feature its own Raid Title Belt.[1] This belt is unique in that it is representative of the first ever rereleased Raid in Destiny. This means that the world's first Raid race had to be altered, given that players were already well acquainted with the encounters to be found within. To signify this, the belt was shown to be silver in color, rather than the standard gold.[1] It will also feature the name of the clan that originally got world's first in Destiny, PrimeGuard, alongside the name of the clan who achieves this in Destiny 2.[1] The world's first race will also require completion of a set of challenging Triumphs, as well as at least one completed run of the Vault of Glass in Destiny 2.[1]

Bungie Rewards Collection[]

It was revealed that the Vault of Glass would be receiving an array of items offered through the Bungie Rewards program when the items were added to the Bungie Store a week prior to the Season of the Splicer's launch.
