The Music of Destiny is a collection of comprehensive vinyl box sets spanning the entirety of Destiny's original soundtrack across two volumes, including the never before or since released Music of the Spheres. The first volume released in 2018, while the second would follow in 2020—each pressed by Gotta Groove Records on 180g vinyl.[1] Given the fact that Destiny 2 soundtrack has begun being pressed on vinyl by Milan Records as of 2025, it seems the Music of Destiny series has been retired.[2]

Volume I boxset

- MSRP: $99.00 USD
- The Music of Destiny, Volume I is a six LP boxset which includes the complete Destiny original soundtrack, as well as the first ever official release of Music of the Spheres. It was available for preorder from June 1, 2018 to June 15th exclusively on the Bungie Store, priced at $99.00 USD.[3] The boxset was sold as part of a Bungie Foundation drive, with all profits going to the Melodic Caring Project.[4] The boxset would eventually ship in Fall 2018, with a small amount of stock returning for purchase on December 20, 2018.[5] Each purchase also included a digital download for all of the included OST.[1]
- Each included LP is stored in its own printed sleeve, and three gatefold jackets house two LPs each. The entire collection is stored in a heavyweight box foil stamped with a unique number. Also included is an exclusive booklet, as well as a pin representing the Traveler, which is included in the Destiny Series Pins.[1]

Volume II boxset
- The Music of Destiny, Volume II
- Release: November 9, 2020
- MSRP: $109.00 USD
- The Music of Destiny, Volume II is a six LP boxset which includes the complete The Taken King and Rise of Iron original soundtracks. It became available for preorder on November 9, 2020 as part of the Bungie Store's Novembrrrr sale that year.[6] This set did not uphold the same exclusivity as the original, remaining available on the Bungie Store for a longer, indeterminate period, with stock arriving for fulfillment in January 2021. Furthermore, this volume was priced at $109.99 USD, rather than the $99.99 USD of the previous.[7]
- The format in which the LPs are sleeved and stored are identical to that of the first, the central difference between this boxset being the forgoing an exclusive pin in exchange for a Destiny-themed slip mat.[7]
- As announced on April 30, 2021, the Music of Destiny, Volume II boxset received the G.A.N.G. Award for Best Physical Soundtrack Release.[8]
