The Final Shape is the eighth major expansion to Destiny 2, releasing on June 4, 2024. It is the fourth and final release of the Age of Darkness expansions, which began with Beyond Light, as well as the bookend to the overarching Light and Darkness Saga of Destiny.
The expansion takes players into the Pale Heart of the Traveler in pursuit of the Witness, to stop its plans to use the Light to bring about the final shape of the universe.
