Idea Planet is a merchandising company based in Dallas, TX which works primarily with brands in gaming.

The company was involving with merchandising Destiny in its early days, being responsible for promotional items such as the Destiny Trading Cards, Destiny Challenge Coin, and the highly exclusive Holiday Edition Ghost made for Bungie and Activision employees. However, it was also intimately involved with Bungie's development of the Destiny Ghost Edition, and would go on to contribute to The Taken King and Destiny 2 collector's editions. Idea Planet was also responsible for the Alexa Enabled Ghost produced in 2017.^[1]

Destiny Challenge Coin

The Destiny Challenge Coin was a promotional item offered to those serving in the US military at the time of Destiny's launch. They were distributed to those who purchased the game at a base exchange.^[2]

The coin is made of metal,^[3] and is approximately 1.8" (4.57cm) in diameter.^[4] The obverse of the coin features a Tricorn and text reading, "THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE." The reverse displays Destiny's logo.

Cabal Military Pawns

Materials: Plastic

The Cabal Military Pawns were included in the Destiny 2 special editions, and consist of three golden pawns representing each of the three Guardian classes.^[5]

Each are approximately 0.75" (1.9cm) in size and are made of plastic.
