Ghost replica
- Ghost Replica
- Size: 4.5" (11.43cm)
- Weight: 13.5oz (382g)
- The Ghost replica is the titular inclusion of the Ghost Edition. It represents a Ghost equipped with the Frontier Shell, which was only available in-game to fans who purchased any of the premium launch editions of Destiny, via a downloadable content code. The replica is approximately life-size, standing at a height of 4.5", and is built with high quality materials, weighing 13.5oz.
- The replica is laden with electronic features that function on three modes, which can be toggled via a switch on the back of the replica, labeled 0, I, and II. The first of these is a simple 'off' mode, while the second is referred to by the reference manual as an 'on' mode, which cyclically brightens and dims the LEDs which light up the eye and the blue features on the flanks of the Ghost. The third mode is the 'motion sensing' mode, which, when toggled, is triggered by a motion sensor located above the eye of the replica. This will cause the LEDs to activate while one of the 10+ sound effects plays through the speaker located on the underside of the replica. The sound library consist of various Ghost sound effects as well as lines spoken by Ghost during Destiny's campaign, as performed by Peter Dinklage. The manual recommends being within a range of 1–6 feet from the replica for best results when triggering the replica while it is in motion sensing mode.
- The electronics operate off of a battery charged via a micro USB port located on the back of the replica. A small micro USB cable is included with the replica for charging purposes, and the manual recommends leaving the Ghost off while charging it.

Golden Age Relics
- Golden Age Relics
- Shader: Double Banshee (7MM-VPD-MHP), Oracle 99 (RXC-9XJ-4MH)
- The Golden Age Relics included exclusively in the Ghost Edition are a set of disparate items inspired by the story and lore of Destiny as of the game's release. They are packaged in an envelope sealed with a sticker, rather than being stored in the Guardian Folio.
- The first of such items is a 3" patch depicting the logo of the Destiny universe's first manned mission to Mars, Ares One, upon which humanity would make its first contact with the Traveler.[1] In addition to the "Ares 1" text, the patch reads "ERIT FORTIS," which can be translated from Latin to one of Destiny's most persistent taglines, "be brave."
- Similarly, another of the relics is a 3.5" (8.9cm) photo card of one of the three Ares One astronauts. The photo on this card is taken directly from the opening cutscene of Destiny, specifically the shot at fifty-five seconds in which the astronaut in question is having their equipment checked. This item also contains a code for the Double Banshee Shader, located on the lower left side of the border.
- The third item is a sticker with a diameter of four inches (10.16cm) bearing the logo of the Russian Federal Bureau of Aeronatics (PФБA), which is very commonly seen in Destiny as the organization worked out of the Cosmodrome before the Collapse.[2]
- The final items are a pair of plastic sheets which seem to be x-ray images of the Traveler. They are apparently numbered in a sequence, given the "17" and "18" present on the bottom of each image. The latter sheet also contains a code for a Shader, disguised as a sort of ID number handwritten onto it. The code can be redeemed for the Oracle 99 Shader. Each of these sheets are 4" x 5" (10.16cm x 12.7cm) in dimension.

- Emblem: "Binding Focus" (FJ9-LAM-67F)
- The Guardian Folio is what stores the majority of Destiny's special edition contents out of the box, including the Arms and Armament booklet, the Postcards from the Golden Age, and the Antique Star Chart. The cover has a leather-like texture and features the Guardian Crest on the front, as well as a Tricorn on the spine. It opens to reveal some iconography, pencil scribblings, and an inner sleeve on either side of the fold. On the right side is stored the Arms and Armament booklet, while the left side stores the rest of the aforementioned contents.
- Also included with the Guardian Folio is an in-universe letter to the player's Guardian, discussing the state of the universe and the necessity to rise to the occasion in stamping back the Darkness. Also included on the bottom left side of the letter is a universal code for the "Binding Focus" Emblem.

Arms and Armament Field Guide
- Arms and Armament Field Guide
- Pages: 79
- Dimensions: 8.25" x 5.25" x 0.188" (20.96cm x 12.7cm x 0.48cm)
- Emblem: "Illusion of Light" (JD7-4CM-HJG), "Ab Aeterno" (JDT-NLC-JKM)
- The Arms and Armament Field Guide is an art book which is written as though it exists in the Destiny universe, describing each of the weapon types, Guardian classes, and vehicle models. Throughout the 79 pages, information about Exotic weapons like Thorn, The Last Word, and Gjallarhorn can be found, as well as references to characters such as Zavala, Ikora Rey, Cayde-6, Andal Brask, and Amanda Holliday.
- Many pages of the booklet are annotated by multiple authors who the book ostensibly traded hands with during its lifetime. The first of which is an individual who writes extremely neatly, and ponders things such as the nature of the Light, or the Vex. This writer's notes are all found in the notes section at the back of the booklet, suggesting that they would rather keep the rest of the pages as they were printed. The second writer writes loudly, using capital letters, dark ink, and sharp strokes. This writer is pragmatic, focused on the tools necessary to fight and survive. They even log tallied kill counts next to the weapons they used in battle. This writer and the most recent, third, writer both wrote their annotations throughout the book, with some of the second writer's notes themselves being commented on by the third. This third writer writes with a light hand, seemingly in pencil, and considers higher concepts than that of the second. This writer is concerned with the location of Thorn, highly respectful of the Vanguard leaders, and completely devout to the Light. A note on page 64 suggests that this writer belongs to the Hunters. The identities of the former owners of the booklet are left vague, but the original owner could be gleaned to be a Warlock, given their neatness and studied insight, while the second owner is more likely to be a Titan or a Hunter, given their shoot first ask questions later attitude and apparent preference to the tenets of those classes.
- Two universal Emblem codes were hidden within the pages of Arms and Armament. The first being found on the top of the very first page, which awards "Illusion of Light," an Emblem representing the same Ares One logo found in the Golden Age Relics set. The second is located on page 77, written in handwriting unlike any of the aforementioned three writers as "launch clearance," as the page in question describes the Arcadia Class Jumpships found in the game. This code awards "Ab Aeterno." Each of these Emblems can be collected from Tess Everis and equipped in Destiny upon redemption.

Postcards from the Golden Age
- Postcards from the Golden Age
- Dimensions: 7" x 5" (17.78cm x 12.7cm)
- Emblem: "Field of Light" (JNX-DMH-XLA), "Lone Focus, Jagged Edge" (7CP-94V-LFP)
- The Postcards from the Golden Age are a set of four postcards themed after locations in Destiny. Two of them are produced by the Russian Federal Bureau of Aeronautics (PФБA) and advertise the Cosmodrome, another is produced by Clovis Bray and advertises Freehold on Mars, while the last one references the Ishtar Collective and advertises Venus.
- Two of the postcards feature Emblem codes. One of the PФБA postcards hosts the code for "Field of Light," while the Venus postcard contains the code for "Lone Focus, Jagged Edge."

Antique Star Chart
- Antique Star Chart
- Dimensions: 20.5" x 14.56" (52cm x 37cm)
- Emblem: "Unimagined Plane" (X9F-GMA-H6D)
- The Antique Star Chart is a poster displaying each of the explorable destinations in Destiny, and is visually akin to the Directory menu in-game. It features myriad iconography and Latin phrases, including the iconic motto "Per Audacia Ad Astra," which has the intended translation of "with bravery to the stars."[3] The reverse side of the poster is made to look like yellowed paper, and includes some of the pencil scribblings seen throughout Destiny's special edition contents.
- Also featured on the reverse side is a cipher key, listing each of the twenty-two letters and numbers used in Bungie's code generation, with an arrow pointing to the first article of the list, "A." This key decodes a puzzle hidden on the front side of the poster. On the bottom right, there is a diagram of the solar system with the same arrow seen on the aforementioned list next to one of twenty-two carets circumscribing the diagram. Each of these carets is sequentially associated to a character on the key, with the one closest to the arrow being "A," and then continuing down the list in the direction of the arrow. There is a path connecting each of the dots representing the celestial bodies within the diagram, beginning with the closest to the sun, which is located in the center. The carets align with each of these points on the path, so that the counting of the carets, as the points progress on the path, may be applied to the key. Upon completion of this process, the code for the Emblem "Unimagined Plane" will be produced.

Destiny SteelBook
- Destiny SteelBook
- The Destiny SteelBook case is printed light grey with Destiny's topographical-esque designwork, while the Tricorn and radial line design cut out of the print to reveal the bare silver metal. The radial design extends to the back cover, while the spine features a Tricorn on the top, the Destiny logo in the center, and a "1" on the bottom, designating the title's placement in the series.
- The cases are standard size for their respective consoles, meaning the Xbox 360 version of Destiny's special editions includes a taller SteelBook to match the DVD case size used by titles produced for the console, while the PS3, PS4, and Xbox One versions include a SteelBook that is short to match the Blu-ray case size used for those platforms. The taller case also includes a second disc holder, and given the fact that Destiny only requires one disc, the second slot is occupied by a paper "DVD" representing the Traveler.
